Westlake Ace associates help customers every day find the items they need and offer advice to help them with their latest home project or repair, but also take service to the next level by supporting our local communities. Service is one of the Core Values at Westlake Ace Hardware that extends beyond the four walls of our stores.
We hold Round-Up at the Register events a few times a year, sell World’s Finest Chocolate bars, which donate a portion back to Children’s Miracle Network, sell calendars and hold our annual Bucket Sale the first weekend of August, giving customers 20% off most items that fit into the bucket when they donate $5 or more to CMN, along with additional fundraising activities in each store annually.
Westlake Ace supports The Salvation Army through the annual Fan Drive round-up event taking place every June, providing box fans to those in need of summer heat relief in the communities we serve.
Additionally, each neighborhood Westlake Ace store provides donations, sponsorships and event support to a variety of more localized causes, such as community organizations, schools, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
In 2023, we raised more than $900,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
