Ace Hardware of Mission Hills Opens

New 15,000-square-foot California store offers leading brands, helpful service, and extensive services for homeowners.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (February 5, 2026) – The new Ace Hardware of Mission Hills, Calif., officially opened its doors for business on January 30, 2026.

Located at 10349 Sepulveda Blvd., in Mission Hills, Ace Hardware of Mission Hills is fully stocked with trusted brands and offers a wide range of services to support local homeowners and DIYers. A grand opening celebration and sale is tentatively planned for March 13-15, 2026.

Retail hardware industry veteran Armando Casillas has been named general manager of Ace Hardware of Mission Hills. A San Fernando Valley native with a strong work ethic and a passion for gardening and power tools, he was most recently an assistant manager at Ace Hardware of Van Nuys.

Departments and Services

Ace Hardware of Mission Hills features a variety of specialty departments, store-within-a-store concepts, and services, including:

• Garden Center — Offering a curated selection of live plants, pottery, outdoor living supplies, and top gardening products from brands such as Scotts and Miracle-Gro. 
• Backyard BBQ — As fresh, inviting, and uniquely Ace in-store experience featuring premium outdoor cooking brands like Blackstone, Ooni, Weber, Traeger, and Big Green Egg.
• Power Tools and Outdoor Power — The first concept of its kind in the retail hardware space, the department showcases leading power tool brands such as Craftsman, DeWalt, and Milwaukee alongside popular outdoor power equipment brands EGO and STIHL.
• The Paint Studio — Featuring Benjamin Moore and Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines paints and paint color matching services.

In addition to offering such services as key cutting, automotive key fob replacement, STIHL outdoor power equipment repair, carpet cleaning machine rental, and propane tank exchange, the store sells fasteners, hand tools, Yeti coolers and accessories, and plumbing and electrical supplies.

Ace Hardware of Mission Hills is owned and operated by Ace Retail Group and is the company’s 23rd location in California.
