Westlake Ace Hardware Presents Check to City Of Hope

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 24, 2024) – Westlake Ace Hardware recently presented City of Hope^®, one of the largest and most advanced cancer research and treatment organizations in the United States, with a check for $20,472.  In September more than 40 Ace Hardware locations in California, Buikema’s Ace Hardware in Chicagoland, and Westlake Ace locations in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico collected donations through a “round up” at the register fundraising campaign.

The donation will help City of Hope fund groundbreaking research, support new treatments, and offer hope to those facing cancer. People travel from all over the country to seek treatment at City of Hope’s comprehensive cancer center in California — as well as cancer centers near Atlanta, Chicago, and Phoenix.
